The story behind the name
There is a personal story behind The Kelu Project that is at the heart of everything this little corner of the internet is trying to become.
The name Kelu is an anagram of Luke.
It began as something much more than a business name. It was a way of keeping a connection to someone deeply loved, while creating something positive in his name.
Over time, the project has changed. Its original business purpose may have changed too. But the meaning behind the name has not.
Kelu remains a little reminder that a name can carry a story, and that a story can keep a person close.
This part of the website is intentionally personal. It is here because Luke is not simply the inspiration for a name — he is part of the reason this project matters.
If you ever find this…
Luke, if you ever come across The Kelu Project and recognise your name in it, I want you to know something very simple:
You have never been forgotten.
The name Kelu was chosen because it carries you with it. Every page, every story, every little piece of work that has grown from this project has had your name quietly woven through it.
There is no perfect way to put everything a mother feels into words. There are years that cannot simply be explained in a paragraph, and there are things that words will never be big enough to hold.
But if you are reading this, I hope you know that the door is open.
You can contact me.
You do not have to know exactly what to say. You do not need the perfect words. A message is enough.
If you ever want to reach out, please use the Kelu contact page.
I will always hope that one day I hear from you.
The invitation will always be there.
This website is not a demand, a pressure or an expectation. It is simply a small light left on. If Luke ever wants to make contact, there is a way to do so.

Kelu can keep growing.
The website can remain a place where good things are gathered: a charity doing important work, a small business taking its first steps, a useful resource, an interesting story or simply something that might make another person feel less alone.
And somewhere within all of that, there will always be four letters carrying a very personal meaning:
