💘 January Newsletter

ISSUE 5
31th January 2026

January arrived quietly.

After the softness of December, it didn’t ask us to rush forward. Instead, it invited us to arrive exactly where we already were.

This month became about grounding.

At The Kelu Project, January focused on creating calm foundations:

January wasn’t about productivity.
It was about presence.

As we move toward February, the energy begins to shift.

A month often associated with love 💘 — not only romantic love, but care, connection, and meaningful support.

February at The Kelu Project will focus on love in action:

💞 Valentine Month Service Specials

To mark a month centred on connection, I’ll be offering Valentine‑inspired specials across my professional services — designed for individuals, creatives, organisations, and community projects.

February is about working together with intention — supporting ideas, causes, and people you genuinely care about.

Throughout the month, I’ll also be gently highlighting organisations and charities whose work reflects love through action: care, protection, advocacy, and community.

More details will be shared softly as the month unfolds.

💖 February Charity Selection — Love in Action

These three organisations reflect compassion beyond romance and align naturally with The Kelu Project’s values:

Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières)

Why: Providing medical care in conflict zones and humanitarian crises, including Gaza.

Love as care for human life, dignity, and health.

Women’s Aid (Ireland)

Why: February can be complex for many. Supporting Women’s Aid honours love as safety, respect, and empowerment.

Love as safety, support, and the right to live without fear.

ALONE (Ireland)

Why: Valentine’s season can heighten loneliness. ALONE supports older people experiencing isolation.

Love as connection, companionship, and showing up.

No pressure. No guilt. Just awareness and choice.

💘 A Personal Note of Thanks

Last month, I shared that I was facing homelessness. I want to reassure readers that I am now safely housed. A week before my move-out date, I discovered that a council housing offer had been made to me in November — but I was never informed. Thankfully, the offer was still open, and I was able to view and accept the apartment just in time. While the flat is currently unfurnished and without electricity, it is still a home — and I am deeply grateful to have avoided homelessness.

As always, thank you for being part of this space. You are never required to rush, perform, or keep up. Creativity — and care — move at their own pace.
